Supporting people in need. Period.
Halifax Public Libraries is proud to support United Way's Tampon Tuesday campaign, opens a new window. Since 2019, local Tampon Tuesday initiatives have collected more tens of thousands of menstrual products from workplaces and individual donors. Products are then delivered to local charities and are made available for people experiencing period poverty in our community.
This year's drive is running now through March 29, 2022 and you can drop off products at any of our locations during this time period. Our Libraries will accept products via collection boxes inside the branch and/or at Info Desks.
