Halifax Public Libraries has switched to a new tele-messaging system. Our previous provider is no longer supported.
The new tele-messaging system should improve the success rate of dial-out calls.
What it means
When you call the Library's tele-access line, or receive a call from the line, there will be some small changes.
What has changed:
- Different voice.
- Some menu options may be in a different order and/or assigned to different numbers.
- If you have more than 100 items on your holds list (including suspended holds), you will be unable to listen to your full list of items. You will, however, still have access to your account and be able to renew items, check due dates, etc.
Call your local Library if you have any issues with the new service.
