Plan ahead for interlibrary loans this August
If you wish to borrow materials from other libraries in Nova Scotia and across Canada, we advise planning ahead. In early August, the request forms will be temporarily unavailable and access to items outside of the Halifax Public Libraries suspended.
What's happening
For eight days, from August 1-11, the interlibrary loan team is taking a break. The web forms used to place a request for an item from other Canadian libraries will be paused and the interlibrary loan service unavailable. The service disruption will be brief, but researchers and readers are encouraged to note the dates and plan accordingly.
Full service returning August 12, when the forms will be re-opened.
