Café service on Floor 1 and Floor 5 of Halifax Central Library is temporarily unavailable as we transition to a new service provider. We know café service at Central Library is valued by our community. Whether you’re meeting a friend, or grabbing your morning coffee, food and the library go well together.
In 2019, Central Library celebrated its 5th Anniversary. The Library has grown over the last five years, and so has our community! In developing the next version of Central Library’s café services, we will look for ways to reflect our community and our values in the new service.
Until then we will add additional temporary seating, and maybe even a temporary coffee counter. Our space is your space!
