Throughout March and April, eligible community members will have the opportunity to have their tax returns done free of charge with Canada Revenue Agency's Community Volunteer Income Tax Program (CVITP) via Halifax Public Libraries. Appointment booking opens on March 1, 2024.

Free Tax Clinics
Once you've confirmed your eligibility, you can call or visit your local branch, opens a new window to book an appointment, beginning March 1, 2024. Eligible community members that register for a 2024 tax clinic will have their tax return completed with a CVITP volunteer.
