Sneak a Peek: Dartmouth North Renovation

We're really excited about the changes happening at the Dartmouth North Public Library and Community Centre—and we want to share the progress with you.

Snow is falling on our outdoor project, but there's a wonderland beneath it all! The exterior changes are rolling along steadily, and you can see it all through our brand new Library sliding door—your portal to the upcoming Outdoor Library.

December 22, 2017

A new, large Library window has been installed and outdoor improvements are appearing across the landscape. With the arrival of the window, construction workers can remove the temporary exterior wall and resume building the Library deck and general structure. If weather is on our side, community members will soon be enjoying a new, grand view from inside their cozy Library. 

October 27, 2017

We're watching our outdoor space as it transforms. Right now, we see plenty of construction fences, machinery, and progress. It's easy to get excited about our future space as it changes before our eyes. The project is currently running on schedule and we expect to wrap up this phase of construction in late 2017.

We're still open during regular hours. Just follow the signs and we'll see you inside!
