Would you like to welcome summer with a simple, affordable and unique decorative wreath for your door? It's easy and fun for the whole family!
Kick-start your creativity by fashioning a wreath using materials found either inside or outside of your home.
What you’ll need
- Cardboard, or something to make a circular base with
- Glue gun
- Decorating materials
Step 1
Cut out a large circle from a piece of cardboard or other sturdy material. Use a can or another circular item to cut a hole in the middle of your wreath.
Step 2
Decorate your wreath! Glue or tie on items that spark joy: ribbons, yarn, buttons, costume jewelry, fabric, paper, recyclables, old toys. If you go outside, you might find twigs, pebbles, feathers, leaves or brand new pussy willows. The sky's the limit!
Step 3
After you finish your wreath, you can add a written message if desired, and hang it proudly to cheer up your neighbours.
