Exams stressing you out?

Exams are hard, we all know this.

But don’t worry I am here to help!

It is that time of the year again, when lunch hours are filled with math extra help and colour coded study notes rather than good friends and food. When big Friday night plans of going out are replaced with staying in and hitting the books. These few days of the year are some of the most stressful for high school students. I want to make the next week and the next a little easier for you with a few tips!

My first suggestion would be to make good concise study notes for yourself. By going through all of your in class notes and using the outline for your exam you can pull out all the important information that you will need for your exam. The best part of this tip is the fact that you will have it all in one place!

Once you have all of your notes typed or neatly written out it is time to put them to use! Start to review them; if you have them typed don’t be afraid to highlight what you need to work on as you can always print another copy.

If you are writing a math exam this week like me, make sure you get your hands on any practice exams that you can find. Don’t limit your search to just your teachers website as there might be better material on other teacher’s websites.

Also, check out these study tips in the Homework Help section of the Teen page.

I hope that all these tips help you as the week goes on! Good luck to all of you!
